My outfit of the day to face this great love with joy
Hello to all my Fashion Rebels… with Style. All week long that we are always running. We never stop. We chase the metro, bus, and the train, until the weekend arrives and we can finally relax! Do any of you have a place that is all your own where you can find peace and harmony? A place where you can relax? Today I want to let you in on my little secret. Saturdays is the day to “remove the thorn” and do you know where I take refuge? Margutta Street! To everyone in the US this street is probably pretty obscure, so let me help you out. Margutta Street is in Rome, very close to Piazza di Spagna by Piazza del Popolo. It is a long street where you can find great artists, painters, sculptors, and artisans. It is also the street where, guess what, the famous house where the movie, Roman Holiday, was filmed with Audrey Hepburn! Do you remember that movie? This is it, here in this little excerpt:
You remember this movie? Personally, I adore Audrey Hepburn! A woman of extraordinary elegance, unique, rich, fascinating… impecable! She is truly inspired and yet inspires each new moment of fashion as an imortal It Girl! She is an ambassador of imortal glamour.
Are you curious to know which outfit I chose for my rendezvouz down Margutta Street this Saturday? Well, it was not a style of Audrey Hepburn. Instead I chose to opt for a 60’s style and go around in hippy fashion the way they did in those days… on Margutta Street of all places!
So, what do you think? You like my outfit choice? And what do you think of the film? I leave you this link to see the integral version!
